Sukeshi Sondhi’s current artistic practice explores diverse media to create a hybrid of forms fusing memory with the traumas of our times. Through poetic and allegorical tactics, her works employ appropriation, reconfiguration, and mark making to allude to the dualities of vulnerability/strength, presence/absence, and personal/political. By creating a sensorial experience, Sukeshi’s works illicit reflection and response from the viewer with the hope of negotiating attitudinal and perceptual change.

“Art, for me, is an insight into the state of mind at a point in time. It is an amalgamation of memories, experiences and training; an outpouring of energy; a release of emotion and obsessions; a reflection of and response to surroundings.”
